I was thrilled to hear the quality of music-making at the concert at St. James’ this afternoon. The Divertimento and the Vivaldi were particularly well performed and I was delighted with the way the children did so well with the Toy Symphony. It is such a treat to hear performers sounding like real chamber musicians.

I brought a carload of audience members down from Bracebridge and everyone was very excited with the entire concert. We’ll be looking forward to the rest of the series. Congratulations!

Nancy Telfer
internationally recognized composer and choral clinician

What a marvellous concert this afternoon!… The programme was quite impressive with such vitality, clarity and perfection. It was marvellous and I thank you so much for this opportunity to hear such expertise and joy that touched my heart and made it swell with gratitude.

Thanks again for the joyful afternoon yesterday. When our kids told their Dad about the concert, all they talked about were the kids and their instruments, so you achieved an impression! Well done.

Kristine Riedel-Fiddick from Orillia

I’m congratulating you on your stupendous presentation. You and Caroline are such unbelievable assets to Orillia’s music community. Never do I recommend anyone unless they’re stellar. You hit the jackpot! Thanks for your wonderful contributions.

I must tell you what a wonderful time I had watching and listening to your chamber music concert today. I was completely blown away by the amazing talent and skill of all the musicians. The children actually brought a tear to my eye when they began playing. Thanks again, I’ll be watching for more concert announcements.

Peter Voisey has performed with many Canadian orchestras including the Canadian Opera Company, Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony, Orchestra London, Thunder Bay Symphony and Symphony New Brunswick. He held the position of second oboe and solo English horn with the Windsor Symphony for ten seasons. He has also appeared as soloist with the Windsor Symphony, the Valley Festival (Ottawa area), the North Bay Symphony and the Etobicoke Symphony.

Besides playing oboe and English horn, Peter especially enjoys performing as multi instrumentalist on saxophones, clarinets, flutes and recorders. He has played sax with several Toronto-area big bands, and is a member of the Dimanche Matin Saxophone Quartet.
